Cousin Debby sent this image of a pen-and-ink sketch by our great-grandmother Gertrude Kramer Pape (1859-1919), that was in the possession of her sister Val. Val is not sure how she got it, but it was likely through her grandmother Rhea, Gertrude's daughter. It is signed "Gertrude Kramer" in the lower right corner, which means that it was likely done before her marriage (in about 1888) to our great-grandfather John Pape (1851-1945), and that her surname is spelled Kramer and not Cramer.
