Wedding Wednesday: Nana, June 1953

My grandmother, Elizabeth Florence Massmann Pape (1902-2000), at the double wedding on June 13, 1953, of her two youngest daughters, my aunts Marilyn "Beete" Electa Pape Hedger to James "Jim" Edward Hedger (1933-2010), and Rose Mary "Moe" Pape Dietz (1931-2007) to Ronald Joseph "Das" Dietz (1931-1994).  These photos were taken outside the wedding location, St. Margaret Mary Catholic Church in Chicago, Illinois.

The photo above was cropped out of the image below, from a Kodachrome slide found in the study of my late father, Frederick Henry Pape (1929-2017), who probably took the photo.
