Fearless Females: Happy 80th Birthday, Aunt Bebe!

Today my dad's youngest sister, Marilyn Electa Pape Hedger, turns 80!  She has six children, twenty-six grandchildren, and ten great-grandchildren (so far - at least one more is on the way.)  These offspring and their spouses threw a big birthday party for her this past weekend in Orlando, Florida, and my parents attended.

Dad always called her "Bebe" (pronounced beeb), so that's what we called her growing up, although most of my cousins call her Aunt Beete or Beetie (pronounced beet-ee).

  1. Congratulations! She sounds like a very lucky lady to have gotten to know 26 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren! It also sounds like she is surrounded by her loving family!
